John Angles graduated from Lindsey Hopkins Technical School in South Florida, completing a 720-hour massage therapy certification course. He became a licensed massage therapist in 1993 by the Florida Board of Massage and was later certified by the North Carolina Board of Massage & Bodywork Therapy in 2005.
With over 30 years of experience, John has had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, collaborating with chiropractors, physical therapists, doctors, and fellow massage therapists. He has also worked with college and professional athletes, including tennis players at the Lipton Tennis Tournament, as well as football, baseball, basketball players, and NASCAR drivers.
A firm believer in the holistic approach to health and wellness, John understands that the body adapts to the stress of daily life. Whether from a demanding work environment or personal challenges, tension and discomfort build up over time, manifesting as tight muscles and painful knots.
Throughout his extensive career, John has specialized in working with individuals suffering from conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, sciatic pain, and neuropathy. He is skilled in addressing deep muscle issues, including releasing the piriformis muscle that can cause pressure on the sciatic nerve, alleviating sciatica pain. His expertise extends to helping clients recover from chronic pain, improve mobility, and find relief from nerve-related discomfort.
Over the years, John has helped many individuals find relief through therapeutic massage. It is both an honor and a privilege for him to facilitate his clients' healing process.
Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his wife, kids, and pets. He loves unwinding with activities like bicycling, jogging, playing softball, and basketball.
